H orses are wonderful, horses are kind
O h, how I wish all horses were mine.
R iding them is such a joy
Sitting on my favourite boy
E ven if its in the rain
Still I love it all the same.

Mange streaked face,
Sunken eyes,
Patchy mane,
Covered in flies.
Toast rack ribs,
Long cracked hooves,
Joints all creaking,
When he moves.
Stuffed in a box,
Starts to be towed,
Thrown all around,
On a long bumpy road.
The motion stops,
Children gather around,
The large door opens,
He falls to the ground.
1 year later,
Out on a hack,
Small children sit confidently,
On his hollow back.
Kids hang from his neck,
He's shining like gold,
He thinks he's in heaven,
Since the day he was sold.
